The problem under MacOS X seems related to a missing library for Phonon (the
library for the video) which is not provided in the Mokka application. This
problem will be fixed soon.

For the problem under windows, you should check if you are able to read this
video into Windows Media Player. If it is not the case, then it means that
Windows does not have the good video codec and you need to install it.

If you don't know the codec used, you could install a pack of codecs as this
one: Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack

Maybe the K-Lite Codec Pack (http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm) is
better than
 the previous proposed.

Could you download again Mokka 0.5 for MacOS X? I updated the package and fix
the error on the missing phonon's backend for Quicktime. For the video codecs
under MacOS X, I advice you to install Perian if necessary
(http://www.perian.org/).

Could you tell me which pack of codecs you installed under Windows?

Could you detail the configuration of your Mac computer? (OS version,
computer type, graphic card, etc.)

I have no problem to read mov or avi file with Mokka 0.5 under MacOS
10.5.8 (Macbook pro, geforce graphic card).

I also test Mokka 0.5 on a non developper machine (MacOS 10.6,
Macbook, intel chipset) and I was able to read avi file with perian
(release 1.2.3) installed.

Are you able to open the avi and the mov file into Quicktime? If it is
not the case, then Mokka won't be able to read these video files.

The best chould be to send me the acquisition file and the related
videos. I could then check where is the problem.
