Problem solved. Required rebooting after Nvidia driver were updated.

IDE used to run fine, then fired up today and got the following. I upgraded to the latest nightly build, ran the suggested QT reinstall: sudo apt-get --reinstall install libqt5dbus5 libqt5widgets5 libqt5network5 libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libxcb-xinerama0
