searching drop down lists: accent issue #187

when searching something to tag in the meta-data layers, if there is an accent, the result does not show up unless you search with the special character, which is difficult.

can you please make it so that even if you search the "base" letter- the results show up?

an example is the member TRÓCAIRE, which cant be found unless you only search for "TR" and then work your way through the list- but this is not ideal. It would be good if it popped up when searching "TRO". I hope this is clear.

not a minor task, in so much as the wide dissemination of the dropdowns - or are we only talking about the meta layer tagging?

I was referring to the tagging (meta layers) but it would obviously be ideal if this were the case for search functions as well- let me know what is feasible
