I see something very similar on Windows XP. Every time I do anything that
accesses the file system, the mouse pointer motion becomes very jerky. It seems
that something is eating 80% of the mouse events for about 10 to 15 seconds
every time I open a directory. I am using the latest versions of Virtuawin and
kvasdo pager. I do not see this on the Win 7 machine.

I see the same behaviour in Windows 7: enabling kvasdopager and the mouse gets
very jumpy, diabling kvasdopager makes ist smooth again. Funny enough, I had
the same setup working for the last year or so and I like kvasdopager very much
and would like to continue using it.
One other observation: on my system, a service from PGP Desktop, PGPtray.exe is
also running. Disabling that and continuing kvasdopager, the mouse stays
smooth. So at least in my case, it looks like it is an interaction between
kvasdopager and PGP Desktop.

Same behavior here. Also on Windows 7 SP1 32bits with PGP running.

I believe this is the same bug as Issue 34. The trick we're using to support
changing desktop with the mouse wheel is causing slow down.
I posted a patch on Issue 34 but it never got in.
Posting here again with a build for testing. If you're affected by this please
try this version and see it helps.
The changed is part of vwKvasdoPager.exe so be sure to replace that and not
just the DLL.

Yes I noticed that unusable usage of the jerky mouse as soon as I started
VirtualBox virtual machines, in my Windows 2008R2 VirtualBox Hypervisor.
With this patched package: vwkvasdopager-issue34-build-2.zip
all is working smoothly now
So many thanks to alexandre.jasmin for this patch

This problem started happening to me as well after I purchased the USB 3900
from plugable to use with my microsoft surface 2. After removing the older
kvasdopager and installing the new *-issue34-build-2.zip it worked perfectly.
Thank you alexandre.jasmin!!
