Both of these applications should make use of the entire Instrument Framework. Right now only TC uses Remote Control SMO subsystem to enable remote control of the heaters. The full stack should be implemented in order to

enable asynchronous writing to postgreSQL
get instrument state (Temperature, etc) directly from TC rather than querying the database

Front Panel at Startup:

Query FrontPanel EPROM returns system version new/old panel (we have new: Layout1) and wet/cf
use these flags instead of, e.g., computer name

GHS.mode is read in producer loop: parse v16 to string status

Automode start condensing "pushing" 1. reset, 2. start, 3. auto
