SEQ: Example #42

  1. Make sure lockin freq. is 1Hz ( control expt. create output malfunctions if the lockin is updateing slowly)
  2. Set up control expt and press create output  wait for KH to create output
  3. Put a given input e.g 20mV at I1+,I2+,I3+
  4. Reset Lockin freq. to 20mHz, also adjust the sampling rate accordingly
  5. Press zero offset/measure offset • Make sure Lockin is not in idle mode?
  6. Go to “sweep control” set the x gate values (triangle wavefunctions) • Priority 0 • Amplification factor? • Start end • Step size • channel • Wait?  wait for few seconds after setting a gate value for system to stabilize • Post action: do nothing
  7. Set number of IV at each gate
  8. Run sweep control for taking IV measurements
  9. Repeat for Y gate and then XY gate • Same set up as X? • XY requires 4 channels instead of 2 • Channel number changes • Expt. Name changes • Comments changes (automate comments? Standardize comments from control expt?)
  10. Repeat steps 1-9 for the remaining three sides of the three devices
  11. Repeat steps 1-10 at a different magnetic field (for first set can avoid step 1-4?) • Set start and end and step size • Post action: Check magnet field value and temperature • Magnet in persistent or driven mode?
  12. Change magnetic field • Repeat steps 1-11
  13. Put Magnet in persistent mode at last field value?
