Huh when did that break? Not supposed to happen.

I just started using ws-butler - nice improvement over ws-trim!

I noticed this as well. I bet an emacs change caused it. BTW, I made a patch to allow this feature (keeping whitespace before the point) to be disabled. I understand why you made this feature, but I find cases in which I do not want it to preserve this in the buffer after save. I can get you the patch if you think this is a good optional switch.
