doublecheck search urls #26

The search gadget (or rather, the stats model)
gave unicode strings to urllib.escape.
That didn't work, I changed it to encode the string in utf8 first.
That prevents a crash, but might make the links 404 now.
Someone should check that and report if it works or should be fixed.
