Bouncing ball demos sometimes fail to display in IE #430

I've tested the bouncing ball demos in javascript-samples on some machines 
in random locations. On some of them, when I first hit the page or hit the 
refresh button in IE nothing is displayed. Only when I hit enter on the 
URL bar does it display correctly. I bet this is a timing or caching issue.
