Based on the "Buying IP for the DAO" process document, want to figure out where some of this stuff goes as well as how we can use basic backlinking to create a graph tree of these files @drllau

Github is not optimised for publishing

flowchart LR
    submission-->|selection process|editorial
    editorial --> |quality control|completed
  1. for simple process as per above, you just move files between the 3 folders
  2. however, if it needs more extensive editorial workup, then there are too many processes involved and we all admit github hooks are Figher lvl 2+ quest:
    • fact checking (for investigative journalism)
    • citations (primary and secondary)
    • copyright clearance for anything which is composite work
    • inability to track discussions and blockers ... hackMD is OK for quick collaborative reviews but there's a cap of 20 syncs / month to github on the unpaid plan
  3. after completed (for handwave def of complete), for a professional journal there are additional post-publishing activities like citation tracking and reporting (less useful for lex automata but needed to draw in legal scholars)

As a temporary measure we can standup a PURL micro-server (task for W4M)

PURL server

Background

PURLs (Persistent Uniform Resource Locators) are Web addresses that act as permanent identifiers in the face of a dynamic and changing Web infrastructure. Instead of resolving directly to Web resources, PURLs provide a level of indirection that allows the underlying Web addresses of resources to change over time without negatively affecting systems that depend on them. This capability provides continuity of references to network resources that may migrate from machine to machine for business, social or technical reasons.

Every entry under the PURL.lexdao.eth domain counts as a work protected under copyright or (in the case of case studies) EU database right.
