The symbol _c_ in Kate represents glottal stop. 

The sixth vowel in many of the languages is [ɔ] and is represented by the symbol _â_.

In Tobo, Mindik, Burum and Komba the sixth vowel is more centralised, its phonetic norm
approaching [ə].
