I have just noticed that each language page is SC has a little icon near the top right that lets you see who did what. Sorry to add more things but I think we should do the same thing for VV otherwise you know who will complain.... Thanks, R.

@xrotwang Is there a way to take all of these from SC? I can check them (and edit them, if necessary)once they are in VV.

xrotwang commented 3 years ago

Yes, we can take them over.

@maryewal here's the raw data: https://github.com/lexibank/vanuatuvoices/blob/master/raw/contributions.csv Might take me until Monday to pull it into the web app.

maryewal commented 3 years ago

Thanks, it all looks fine with a casual glance. It looks like they didn't do attributions for the Pentecost language data yet though - I'll have to identify the varieties and add them in. Won't be able to make these additions until Monday, so better to pull in what is there already and I can make additions later.

Done, see e.g. https://vanuatuvoices.clld.org/languages/Alavaswowo

@xrotwang For the remaining languages that don't have specific acknowledgments yet, I assume it would be easier for me to just make the changes directly rather than give you the individual changes? If you can direct me to where to enter them, I can make the changes directly.

@maryewal you could just add rows to this file https://github.com/lexibank/vanuatuvoices/blob/master/raw/contributions.csv The format should be fairly self-explaining, language IDs are like here https://github.com/lexibank/vanuatuvoices/blob/master/cldf/languages.csv
