VIbrate "only when device is set to vibrate" #116

As in handcent menu options: Settings > Notification Settings > Vibrate >
Only when device is set to vibrate mode

This feature inspired from handcent would be invaluable for me. I like my
stock messaging app, but you have manually set vibrate for notifications on
or off regardless of ringer settings. I'd like to see this simple feature
incorporated into your app. Handcent is more than I need, and I like the
way your app integrates with my existing one.

I think a lot of Motorola phone users would love you for this!

Thank you for your time!

Froyo has a feature where you can have notifications for calls and other events
(e.g.
text messages) vibrate only if the phone is set to silent mode.
I'd love a feature such as this for SMS Popup.

You can get this working for the most part now. Set SMS Popup settings so
vibrate is OFF. Then leave your system vibrate ON. When the phone is in
silent but vibrate mode now, SMS Popup will attempt to play a sound which the
system will silence and trigger vibrate instead.

Downside is you lose the customized vibrate pattern.
