Randomly deleting messages #125

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive message
2. Press close or press reply

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the message to still be in my list of messages.
What happens is the message is gone completely, deleted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version 1.0.8 on a HTC Desire, 2.1-update1

Please provide any additional information below.

It's just suddenly started happening, it was working fine, and I haven't
updated the program, it's
just started doing it randomly.

Are you using any beta or mod builds of the OS? (eg. Cyanogen).

Have you noticed any pattern for when this happens?

I have this same issue. A text message will come in, I will read it briefly,
click reply and it takes me to the thread with that person, however the message
that just came through is gone. I either have to remember what it just said and
reply or ask them to resend, it gets very annoying. It happens at least once a
day if not more.

I've been experiencing the issue, yet I am not using anything like Cyanogen, I
only have a couple of games, facebook and evernote installed on my phone

I also have this issue; I'm using Samsung Galaxy S II. I do not have the
Cyanogen mod. It's becoming so frequent I've unfortunately had to disable the
app temporarily.

A fully revamped version of SMS Popup is now available in the Google Play
Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.everythingandroid.smspopup

I am closing out all old issues/bugs that relate to SMS Popup <=1.10 as so much
was changed in this version. Please create new issues if you see them in the
latest update.
