LED Notification colour for Desire #144

Can you include the ability to change the LED notification colour for the HTC 
Desire?
This has recently been introduced in Handcent and the thread outlining the

SMS Popup uses the standard Android SDK to change the LED settings.  While it 
is possible to use root access to change the LED on Android phones, it varies 
from phone to phone as to how this is accomplished.  The correct fix is for a 
custom rom to add compatibility with the SDK or raise this issue with the 
manufacturer so that they add it officially to the phone in a software update.

Unfortunately I don't have time to add custom code to adjust the LED for each 
type of Android phone (as there are just too many now!).
