What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install SMS Popup
2. Power off phone
3. Power on phone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing. Recent messages are re-sent to contacts. Usually 4 or 5 of my most
recent messages are sent out again to the same contacts. I uninstalled the
program and it doesn't happen any more.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.8 on Android 2.2 Froyo using HTC evo

Please provide any additional information below.

Do you use the standard system messaging app? Have you rooted your phone or
made any other modifications?

i gather this was only when using sms popup quick reply?

when this was happening, could you see any indication on the messages sent that
they would be resent? most phones have a symbol to indicate "outbox" which
means the message will send again at some point.

to be honest, i'm not 100% sure but i think that is the case.

nope, i didnt see any indication of them being resent. i just got a bunch of
messages from people wondering why my text to them didnt make any sense and
then when i looked at my messages list, the original message was no longer
there, just the one that was resent.

Please try v1.0.9 and see if this problem persists. It should be fixed on
Droid X now so hopefully that fixed for your case as well. Closing for now.
