Does not clear sms widget #178

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. You receive a msg and you close or reply to it via SMS Popup
2. The message appears read.
3. The message widget on the homescreen does not recognize the message as read 
and lists 1 unread message.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You expect to see no read msgs on message widget (on homescreen)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.

If this is an HTC Sense UI phone then there is no way for 3rd party apps to 
update the desktop icon unread count.  Please see FAQ here:
