You are supposed to learn SNMP and the printer first.
Maybe you can discuss with the vendor of that printer, to see in which way the printer sends out trap messages. You need to configure it to send trap messages to the computer that monitors them. Then on the computer you can use snmptrapd to monitor the messages (or write your own based on snmptrapd).

Hello, first congratulations for the excellent work!
I'm trying to use the SNMP Trap to a printer notify my application when the total count of pages (oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.43.10.2.1.4.1.1).
However, I found some examples on the site but could not use them.
Does anyone could help me?
