Yikes! Thanks so much for that detailed heads-up, @patrickdepinguin. You're absolutely right. Our dev-util/ctags
is antiquated, bad, and sad. Commit 603423ade0475e resolves this by permanently removing this ebuild from the overlay.
There's a lesson here. Portage didn't use to package dev-util/ctags
; so, this overlay filled that gap. Now that Portage does dev-util/ctags
, though, there's no gap anymore. That's the lesson: laziness. I should have just waited for Portage to package everything. Guess I'll just take the rest of the night off and play video games. :laughing:

Since recently, I get the following warning/error on any emerge/equery command, for example 'equery list -p ctags'
I don't actually use this package from the raiagent overlay, I have all but those I need masked.
I have an up-to-date portage tree and up-to-date raiagent (0c1c4e88cf5d7b8721a25669206982567791ae3d) .
This is not blocking but it is annoying.
