For disambiguity, I'm contemplating either renaming the shell USE flag to shor splitting that flag into shell-specific USE flags (e.g., ash, dash, mksh). In any case, not a significant concern.
And thanks for cleaning up the whitespace. (This is what happens when .vimrc exceeds 50Kb.)
