Notifications are not working after device transfer (iPad) #170

This has happened to me multiple times now. Apps still have the same notification permissions in iPadOS settings, but the notifications just don't work and I can't seem to toggle them on or re-grant permission in any way.

The only potential workaround seems to be to un-install and re-install every individual app. https://www.reddit.com/r/ios/comments/z6sx1r/i_dont_receive_push_notifications_anymore/?rdt=39177

Re-installation works for me, but it's cumbersome, slow, and can lead to other unintentional changes for the apps.

Also, this is literally impossible for some built-in apps like Messages.
