No Man's Sky: Hyaline Brain does not always work without abandoning the mission #191

The Hyaline Brain item has a "Probe Subconscious" action. When I first invoked this, it didn't do anything. And kept not doing anything. Given that the game sometimes conveys mission goals in places that are not obvious, I thought I was missing something. Turns out I wasn't.

Guys i had the same problem, AND I FIXED IT!!! All you have to do is abandon the mission and go back to the ship, it will then allow you to scan 👍👍

This also worked for me. (It may be wise to set a marker or a base at the ship location so you can find it again.)
