Right-click on a song with cover art, then click "Get Info". (Alternatively, press ⌘I)
Select the "Artwork" tab.
Click on the artwork to select it.
Press ⌘C
Expected: the artwork is copied to the clipboard.
Instead, nothing happens.
I'm 100% sure this used to work, and I'm 90% sure I'm not doing anything differently than when it used to work for me.
If I had to make a wild guess, I'd guess that Apple broke this while implementing Album Motion. They didn't break embedded cover art of the ability to extract/set it in general, though.
A simple workaround for now is to drag and drop the cover art into Finder. This can then be dragged into the info for another song.
