Our note to recruiters says:

It’d be amazing if you actually participated in the community as a person. Generally people are much more receptive to other queer folks who participate in their space than outsiders trying merely to recruit here.

Updated ?job-info:

We love that you want to post a job here. Our community values participation and engagement OVER access to jobs.

Please follow the rules and inidvidualise listings. Community is more important than jobs here, and a little effort goes a long way.

Friendly #unlearn-us-centrism reminder that not everyone here is from the US or can work there.

When posting jobs, please use the following format to make jobs easier to scan for everyone.

:briefcase: Job Title Use a relevant country flag :de: :flag-ng: :us: :flag-uk: :flag-au: etc. :money_with_wings: Salary if available (this helps reduce pressure on candidates to name a price) :passport_control: Visa Requirements :office: :palm_tree: :house: Remote Status (Office, fully remote, work form home, etc.) :paperclip: Job description  Company culture, team and company info. :email: Point of contact and a link to the job

Every state with a tech hub has a pay transparency law that requires the pay be transparently made available in good faith; Any recruiter who does not wish to follow them is not a legitimate recruiter and is just doing illegal research at your expense.
