Configuration: Ubuntu 18.04 CPU: Intel i7 GPU: RTX3070

I experience the same problem (Ubuntu 20.04).

Make sure the sensor is not occluded by the ego vehicle.
We have a bug in GT3D with api spawned pedestrians that will be fixed in our next release
