Can minimap and miniasm be used for human genome assembly? #38

Dear Heng, I would like to ask if minimap and miniasm are scalable for human genome assembly? Or would you recommend using Falcon or other softwares?

Minimap should work with human data. However, falcon or canu is recommended for human data.
