Calendar doesn't work #319

Describe the bug

I have installed and enabled Calendar on both my systems, but on either of them the "calendar view" does not appear anywhere, and I don't have "Calendar: Open View" when I look for it in Command Palette. Reloading the app didn't help either.

OS

iMac (MacOS Monterey) and MacBook Pro (macOS Ventura).

I have the same problem. "Calendar: Open View" does appear in the keybind options for the plugin, but assigning it to a key doesn't allow it to work either. I am using Windows 11 and a Redmi Note 11 (Android), but otherwise have the same specifications as above.

On Linux Ubuntu 22.04 with Obsidian 1.3.5, Calendar 1.5.10

Have you checked the right side panel? I had the same issue. Turns out I've hidden my right side panel

I face the same issue. i use windows 11, and obsidian version 1.3.7 ive looked everywhere and i cant find the calendar. Not even the command palate options.

It looks like the latest commit for this project was 9 months ago - is it abandoned?

Mine was in my left side panel. The command palette isn't supposed to have an option for it.

  1. You can either go to Settings → Hotkeys → Calendar: Open View.
  2. Close Settings
  3. Open the Right Sidebar. Mine looks like this:
  4. Press the hotkey that you set
  5. Now it should add a Calendar button that you can click:

apparently the calendar view was getting cut out due to the reduced width of my sidebar. now i can view it. Thanks for the help!!
