always fold seems to stop working after some time #55

I love the concept of this plugin. It helps keep focus, especially with long notes.

Unfortunately, the "fold-all" option seems to stop working after some time.

Disabling/re-enabling seems to bring the plugin "back to life."

I tried reproducing by testing many common things I do, reloading other plugins, folding/un-folding manually, etc. But nothing seemed to reproduce the issue.

The only thing that seems to cause the issue is leaving Obsidian open for some time. When I return, every "crease" is no longer "folded."

PS- I had been looking for something like this and only found "creases" recently. However, I have searched the community plugins for this "auto-fold" feature multiple times in the past year. It might be worth updating the description to include some more common keywords (or add "fold" to the name) so others might have an easier time finding this useful plugin.

It seems likely the "archiver" plugin is improperly re-rendering the note after making changes (archiving completed tasks).

I must have missed this initially since I didn't have any tasks to mark completed during my investigation.

Marking as closed since this is more likely an issue with the archiver plugin than creases.

Thanks for making this. It helps keep me focused on what matters most in my notes.

Re-opening because, while the above is true about the archiver plugin, I'm now observing the "after some time" issue as first reported.

I double-checked that the "Always fold creases" setting is set. But creases are not being folded.

Disabling then enabling the plugin didn't solve it this time, even when all notes were closed during the disable/enable.

Restarting Obsidian fixed it only after all the notes were closed. In other words, it didn't fold creases in notes opened at start-up.

+1 on Windows 10 with obsidian v1.5.11

(I don't use archiver plugin.)

+1 on Mac Ventura with Obsidian v1.5.12.

I also do not use the archiver plugin.

However, disabling and then enabling does not work. I have to manually close every. single. crease.
