Open Monthly Note command opens last year's note

Problem:

I've been filling out a monthly note since last January, and since the new year started I've found that the plugin opens last year's notes when I use the command palette's "Periodic Notes: Open Monthly Note" command.

My settings are as follows: Format: gggg/[M]MM Monthly Note Format: templates/Monthly note.md Note Folder: Periodic Notes

I've tried a few twiddles to see if I can make the plugin work correctly:

• switching format to yyyy/[M]MM and even 2024/[M]MM--it still opens Periodic Notes/2023/M02
• setting Note Folder to nothing, and prepending Note Folder/ to the format strings above
• Turning monthly note on and off

Does anyone else have this issue? If nobody else has it + has time to look into it, I can do it myself next week.

Anyone has a solution yet? This is happening to me now that I've used this for over a year, it's only opening last year's weekly and monthly notes.
