by the way, I've known GAE free account cannot download over 35mb everytime, I
wonder if Heroku mode have the same restriction or not? Honestly, I must say I
never used Heroku mode before, is it faster than GAE mode?
thanks.

The up-to-date APJP_REMOTE_APPENGINE is no limited for download files. Heroku
is less limitation to Google Appication Engine. Free user bandwidth quota see
below,

You cannot get a stable IP with APPENGINE, but you can with PHP or HEROKU.
A free HEROKU account has only 1 WEB DYNO:

APJP can download files larger than 35mb with APPENGINE without problems.
