repo init error

Affected Version:
Environment:
Windows 7 x86

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Due to previous errors main.py was edited to fix them
2. try repo init

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
As known this is meant to install repo.
Instead I get:
error: command 'i' requires repo to be installed first.
       Use "repo init" to install it here.

Please provide any additional information below.

I don't think repo actually supports Windows...

Repo does not support Windows.  No further information from submitter since 6 
months ago.
