FirePath is not working showing invalid X-path. #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open Firefox and navigate to some webpage.
2.Open firebug
3.In Firebug click on Firepath after that click an element in the page to 
inspect.
4.click on any WebElement to inspect.
5.error is showing "invalid X-path" in below firebug window and xpath is 
showing in red colour with no html source code is highlighted.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
X-path should show and proper html source code should be highlighted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.Currently installed version of Firefox is Firefox-34.0
2.Currently installed version of Firebug is Firebug 2.0.6
3.Currently installed version of firepath is Firepath 0.9.7
4.Currently OS version is Windows7 enterprise edition 32 bit.

Please provide any additional information below.

I am also facing a similar issue. I have updated the browser to FF v34 but 
firebug 0.9.7 is behaving unexpectedly. Please look into this issue.

Version 0.9.7.1 has been posted to the Mozilla add-on website.
It has not passed the review process yet but you can already download it here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/firepath/versions/

The latest Release of Firepath(0.9.7.1) is working as expected.
