How to use the java example #194

I am trying to test the java example but when I choose twitter or google by 
editing the consumer.properties file with the given username and password 
(example.oauth, oauth.example for google and OAuthExample,password for 
twitter), It gives HTTP status 401 UnAuthorized.
Please suggest me what am doing incorrect??Or I m missing something??
