Team 11 - C2 Feedback on storyboards: Storyboard is very simple and easy to understand. Ideas are very concise and gets to the point without any confusions. Storyboards had good humor. However, some of the storyboards were a bit difficult to read and most of the storyboards could be involve less text. Do storyboards in pen/marker to make it easier to see.

Feedback on ideas: "Guided museum tours", this idea needs to relate to geolocation/map prompt a bit more. The connection to the prompt is not very apparent from what we see in the storyboard.

The idea of the augmented reality information was very interesting and cool. Definitely would love to have this to learn more about the things around us. Curious to see if the information would be from users or given/written by the app creators.

In the "guided museum tours + Get deals for things near you", the user locations need to be updated very often to receive a good information.

"Get deals for things near you" - I feel like an app similar to this already exists. So if you choose this, try to make it distinguishable and unique. The storyboard presentation seems to show behavior that was used to explain the app I think I came across. Nevertheless, it is a good idea :)

Team 11 - C2 (feedback on ideas continued)

"Location-based content discovery/saving " - This is a good idea and we think it has pretty good potential in helping people find out things about their environment that they probably would not have found normally.

"Short multiple-destination route planner" - This could be very useful for traveling. One way this can be even more interactive and social would be allowing people to share their routes if they wanted to. That would be great as travelling/vacation suggestions.

"Food Discovery" - It a good idea. However, there is a bit difficulty seeing how this is different from an app like Yelp.

"Location-based permanent stories" - We think this idea has pretty good potential. The idea allows one to find out the possibilities can be done in an area and see it in action with pictures, which is great! Also, very often people will see snaps on Snapchat and asks someone where they did something. If these location-based permanent stories can be shared with friends even without being in the location, I think it would be great!

Team 14 - C5 (JSOT) Get deals for things near you Good idea for the app. Not much to say about this to be honest.

Discover weekly nearby things to do I feel like this idea is pretty common already. You would need to find a distinguishing feature and a wide variety/source of events.

Augmented Reality Information Fantastic idea if made well, but lots of attractions already have the information via some pamphlet, some plaque, or have someway to get to a website with digitized information.

Team 12/C3 - TBD Review 5 & 6 5: this app seems kinda plain because you can just just easily send pics and you current location to your friends rather than using this app. 6: this application is pretty nice making the user find information really easily instead of googling on his ownl

Storyboard 7: This app idea seems common - the real difference would come in implementation of how you give recommendations - the use case seems cool though!

Storyboard 8: I had a similar idea - the issue would be collecting data on local sales in your area, and that are not online. That's the real issue barring you from implementing a great idea.

Team 14 (C5 JSOT) Guided Museum Tours Overall a decent idea, but we can't seem to determine where the map based portion of this should come in. It doesn't make sense for this to use a map UI either, so while this may be a good idea, it may not be the one to pursue in this class

Location-based content discovery/saving it appears to be a point of interest application and since the points of interest are user generated, then it may be hard to convince people to start using this application and may lack content which may contribute to a lack of interest in the app.

Short multiple-destination route planner This is a good application idea and could be useful in multiple instances. Since there is only one storyboard, I am unable to determine if there are any other features to this application, so I will assume that finding an optimal route between multiple locations is all this application does so far. So in this case, it be nice if you were to add more functionality to this. Such would include a social element or possible a driving mode since people will likely be driving.

Food Discovery When I read through this storyboard, I am constantly getting the idea that this is just another yelp application. So, I think it be great if you could implement some functionality that make it stand out from being another yelp app. If you do have some idea of such a functionality, then I believe this would be worth pursuing in the class.

Location-based permanent stories This is a pretty good idea. While other social media applications let you post pictures, none of them have a primary focus of pictures and activities in certain locations. Therefore, this is would be a great application for both people who love to travel and people who just aren't sure what they want to do locally. I think this application has potential and would be worth pursuing for this class.

Storyboard 3: I like the idea of being able to find the most optimal path of many locations. However, I am positive that Google Maps takes this into account when adding multiple locations into it. Google Maps should be optimal in terms of finding the fastest route to a location. You should have a distinguishing factor that makes this app different from other map apps, such as sorting by most comfortable path or the path that has the cheapest gas station along the way.

Storyboard 4: I really like the idea of automatically choosing a food location based on past preferences instead of scrolling down through numerous locations over other food apps such as Yelp. However, how would you grab the previous locations in the first place? Is this app a food location app with the extended feature of searching for the best app based on past preferences, or is it an extension to another app? I feel that this is more of a feature than an app itself, and I suggest that there should be something unique added to make it more distinct and different from the other apps out there. One suggestion may be to include more than one person’s preferences when taking into consideration of the best food location. With that said, I would definitely use this application because I do have trouble myself finding a new place to eat! Good luck!

Team C3 - TBD Storyboard 1: I think the idea that people can learn knowledge in a museum is awsome, but I don't see the great meaning of using location here since users can still get the relevant knowledge about a painting or sculpture without the location, they simply need the name of this painting or sculpture rather than the exact location. A nice feature this app can have is comparing same paintings or related items across different museums around the world.

Storyboard 2: I think there are some apps already that show people the interesting places to explore. I wish there can be some unique features in this app, for example, the app can show users the most dangerous places to visit, the most bizzare places to explore, the places where no one has ever visited, etc.
