Bugs: set channel & monitor mode fail #1

OpenIPC, SSC30KQ, Kernel 4.9.84

  1. The ground station can receive the packets, but iw wlan0 info shows the adapter is still in managed mode (0WTHHIW ETE5A~ZNX_7Z_J
  2. iwconfig mode monitor don't work IA%2@TCFN(4EMAVC53ZWG@K C3R2%`HYREFUS{3S2`04 01
  3. iw set monitor can set the adapter into monitor mode, but after that the channel can not be changed JJANSF{JWYM$DF2LD(BMC8D

OpenIPC, Hi3516 FPV, 4.9.37

  1. No TX bytes statistics (TX traffic exists, but the total TX bytes in ifconfig stuck at 0) Note: According to other members in that group, this bug does not exist in others' SSC338Q/30KQ boards. Weird.

As I've never patched nothing related to changing channel or entering monitor mode, these bugs can be seen as presents from the holy crab. This crab driver has been changed a lot comparing to the former RTL8812AU driver , especially the glue on cfg80211. I don't know what's happening -- it would be greatful if anyone can help.

Another bug reported by CC (1146789350) on GK7205V300. It should be the same bug mentioned above on HI3516EV200 4.9.37.

CONFIG_WIRELESS_EXT in kernel config should be set.
It's disabled by default in Hi3516 or GK720x, but enabled in SigmaStar.
