+1 for Bancontact, also pretty low rate on stripe iirc and it's the 1# payment method in Belgium
I haven't added Bancontact and the others because I don't really like the idea of supporting national payment schemes.
Another reason not to bother is that these payment methods are single-use, so they're not suitable for automatically renewed donations. They would be more interesting if we supported one-off donations (#415).
Received a +1 for Alipay and WeChat Pay via email:
Users in mainland China cannot use Paypal, maybe you can try to connect to Wechat pay or Alipay, they use these two a lot.
Introducing the Payment Element
When we launched Stripe Elements in 2017, our goal was to make it easier to build customized checkout flows that help maximize conversion. Not surfacing the right option can significantly impact your bottom line—16% of consumers have abandoned a checkout page because their preferred payment option was not available. That’s why today we’re introducing our biggest upgrade since we first launched Elements: the Payment Element, an embeddable UI component that supports 18 payment methods with a single integration.

Stripe seems to have semi-hidden support for UPI. Liberapay would have to request access.
Stripe currently gives us access to 12 payment methods, but we only use 2 of them:
