It looks like we didn't have an issue about this, so here it is: Liberapay needs an independently-hosted status page.

Related issue: #1727.

What about using Atlassian? For me, it looks good. You can also see some websites (such as DigitalOcean) using Atlassian. 🙂

From my personal experience I would not use any Atlassian service ever again.

Every single service they offer comes with a completely bloated website, that takes ages to load completely and has a ton of JavaScript on it, even when it seems unnessecary. When I have 3-4 tabs open and pinned loading at browser startup, I have 10-20s 100% CPU load for a relatively modern 4 threads CPU. Next is, that their login sucks. With a properly configured ublock and umatrix, you wont be able to login, because the login chases you over 3 other pages with redirections, where of course some other shit is loaded, different domains and all that, so that it is blocked, but then you do not have a chance to unblock it, because it already redirects you again to some fallback page or error page.

I have also experienced the very annoying slowness of their paid git hosting service. Even my free software community led git hoster is approximately 5 times faster, when I push or pull or do anything with it really. It is all around bad service and bad quality.

If you used Atlassian status page, you might as well have none. Even though their own status page should show degraded performance all the time, they show that everything is fine. Ugh, they have such a terrible user experience. They also never improve things you give them as feedback. I have given them feedback years ago, still not fixed. Given up on doing that by now.

Cachet seems like a solid option.
