We are drafting Liberland's Criminal Law in this document.

WARNING! The draft, as it is now, currently contains provisions which SHALL NOT REMAIN in it! How the drafting goes:

• first, get in all the source information - from all sources, some may be strange, contradictory, etc.;
• judge which information is applicable in Liberland;
• remove the rest while keeping the law sufficiently standard & acceptable for the neighbours (see below).

So PLEASE do not judge the draft for the potentially problematic things currently there; we will work diligently to make this law as libertarian as a criminal code can be. We need to have a criminal code to call ourselves a State. This is an extremely sensitive & complicated project, will take a long time & big effort. !!!!THEREFORE: WHAT YOU SEE IN THE LINK ABOVE IS NOT THE CRIMINAL CODE OF LIBERLAND - NOT YET, NOT BY A VERY LONG SHOT!!!!! Thank you for your understanding!

The initial requirements are:

• make the law acceptable for neighbouring countries of Croatia and Serbia - that is why we are drafting based on their laws first, with minor additions or (mostly) removals.
• make it just
• make it libertarian

The initial sources of inspiration are

• Criminal Code of Croatia
• Criminal Code of Serbia
• Criminal Code of Czechia
• Criminal Law of the Netherlands

Made the document. Adopted and adapted first core provisions from the Croatian Criminal Code; liberlandized them.

Changes:

• wherever there is a reference to other Laws, we will put it into this Law (we are making a codex, like Codex Napoleon; all criminal matters in one law);
• wherever there is a specific reference to an article, we instead reference the Name of The Institute In Question (in Capitals).

Drafting General Part:

• punishment of accomplice
• Instigation
• aiding and abetting
• culpability
• non-custodial measures
• security measures
• confiscation of pecuniary gain, public announcement of judgement, legal consequences of conviction, rehabilitation, amnesty, pardon (it is lumped up together in the source).

Finished drafting preliminary draft of General Part (what is a crime, what punishments are available... see above).

Drafting Special Part (i.e. which actions are crimes):

• Crimes against Life and Personal Integrity (changed the convoluted Croatian name into something expected by our Constitution). Suggesting certain changes, please see the doc.
• Criminal Offences Against the Freedom and Rights of Man and Citizen; will require a lot of revision; (not finished)
