Can you please explain what issues you are having or are you asking a question? If a question then can you provide more details pleaase.

Hi Marius, I saw your question in email – thanks. Libero is in a very early state so there aren't any users yet, but we'll feature them on the libero.pub website as they come on board. The first thing we want to do is connect with hosting providers who can provide support to users, as eLife won't be doing that. Hope this helps.

Hi @jmclenna

I'm not a scientist, but an entrepreneur & product manager, with a passion for science. I know it's easy to provide advice from outside, so take this with a gram of NaCl :)

The first thing we want to do is connect with hosting providers who can provide support to users,

I believe the first thing to do would be to connect with open journals (eg https://doaj.org , https://www.plos.org/), which are the potential customers. Find out what are their pains with current solutions they are using, their needs, and what's preventing them to start using Libero now. Is "no hosting provider" among the top 3 blockers?

Would you be able to share these findings? I'd be glad to discuss further, if you think I can help.

Thanks, Marius

Thanks Marius. Yup. Done it. We're now confirming/challenging our learnings from qualitative research with a survey of publishers that's ongoing now. We'll publish the results this fall. Love to hear what you think when they're out!
