I was trying to open an ARC file, but it gives me an error saying "Unable to recognize input file error."

Which arc file?

An arc file from Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Can you upload the arc file? I doubt I'll be able to fix it, but who knows.

The arc files in super Mario galaxy are different than the ones in Brawl. for those you need Yaz0dec and rarcdump.
