Nope, they are masked. It says this instead of an ip:

Is masking the default for thelounge irc?

I think it's the default in unrealircd https://www.unrealircd.org/docs/Cloaking

If we had real external IRC connections, we'd probably be exposing hostnames. I fear our thelounge is not very scalable. it really needs to be upgraded too. Imma close but feel free to comment some more.
