I've taken the liberty of simplifying this, because less choice keeps things simpler for newcomers, and it'll become outdated less frequently if it only mentions LTS versions of Java (I really don't believe we can count on someone to update this every 6 months). Still pretty sure you don't need to install your own system-wide JDK for IDEA and Eclipse, but whatever.

I think we should keep the sentenced about AIDE. At least a couple years ago, it was frequently mentioned on the Discord server, and the explicit mention helps people finding it via Google.

At least for IntelliJ, the docs still think otherwise, but no idea what the actual consequences of this are.
