Abstract (1 sentence up to a couple paragraphs, as you prefer): Kevin will present briefly on the Ethereum Sharding Project's requirements when choosing a P2P library. This will help attendees understand the needs of downstream projects to adopt libp2p.

@Stebalien The sharding team came to us looking for a P2P library. They have shared with us these requirements back around late May. What do you think? Which do you think it is most closely related to?

I see. I thought this was about merkledag sharding (i.e., the eth state tree). Yes, this looks relevant.

@Stebalien Hmm, yeah, that's a reasonable assumption. I have tried to clarify the description a bit.
