This has been under consideration but was declined due to some issue I cannot recall right at this second.
Today we deployed an update that makes the Finnish translation optional and hence allows users to choose which translations to support per contact info entry (phones/emails/links). The next thing is to filter out entries that don't have a translation for the requested language.
This way users can at least create a new entry per language and avoid duplicates showing up on contact info listings.
I think would be at least confusing for the content maintainers if they had two options to achieve a visually similar result.
Currently it is possible to translate the name of the links contact details: https://kirkanta.kirjastot.fi/library/85159/contact/links
It would be good if also the url itself had translations available, since the address is not always same, e.g. http://www.jyvaskyla.fi/kirjasto https://www.jyvaskyla.fi/en/library
By default, the translatable fields should inherit the value from the parent language.
