installing piper from source requires pygobject which seemingly can't be installed or detected #959

I've tried multiple different methods for installing pygobject yet every time I try something piper claims it's not installed. How exactly should pygobject be installed then, since I'm clearly not doing it right.

Just realized I forgot to mention I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
