include response time in instance object #2

May or may not go for this. For each instance, record how long it took to download the instance's main page, from DNS resolution to termination of the TCP connection; in other words, record how long curl ran.

This would be a nice statistic as many instances become overly crowded and finding one with good response time isn't exactly easy.
