Black Screen on Initial Configuration #171

As I'm trying to run the core without content,

I select Load Core and select ScummVM I select Start Core I get a quick note that the attached controller is an Afterglow Xbox 360 controller and then the screen goes black and I can go no further.

Any ideas?
