I made more test netplay with beetle and mednafen plus MedGui Reborn and Retroarch netplay for psx is total broken when in MedGui Reborn Mednafen work like gold (any lags any lost lost sync).
Beetle does not lost synchronization but lags are big. Strange because netpaly with the same person in mednafen netplay works good.
mednafen's netplay functions very differently from RetroArch's, so they aren't really comparable.
RetroArch uses "rollback" style, which is very demanding but feels latency-free when it works.
I'm getting desync issues with Beetle PSX (0.9.44.1 817a123). Used to experience Playstation games with my long distance gf with that. The issue only cropped up very recently in the past month or so. Things that changed was I went from Fedora to Debian for system stability purposes. We tried with her spectating from Fedora and Debian systems. Tried Retroarch 1.15, 1.14, 1.13, and 1.12 and even downgrading to Beetle PSX (0.9.44.1 0763daa). It always desyncs in the first minute really badly and never catches up like it used to. We tested another core today, Sameboy (0.15.4 0913833), and it worked. Played a game of Picross for 20 minutes no issue. It's odd to me that ZzackKbin is having no issues and I have no idea what could be causing this.

Only in lan. PSX cores are broken for netplay. At this moment mednafen+mednaffe or duckstation netpaly for windows.
Hi I tested netplay two cores on Windows 11 on last stable Retroarch version 1.14.0 in my lan (cable: Destop PC and steam deck in dock) and Beeetle PSX works fine with any problems but PCSX rearmed always lost synchronisation has strange lags and looks like is something big broken.
Is possible use online code from beetle in pcsx rearmed? Because only PCSX rearmed support japan games with translations or games with mods/patches/hacks and PCSX rearmed is on Raspberry Pi4.
