'Menu' and 'back' button ignored on Android #5105

Open piegamesde opened 7 years ago

piegamesde commented 7 years ago

Description

The Android version does completely ignore any presses of the physical keys ('menu' and 'back' button), making menu navigation a nightmare.

Expected behavior

Actual behavior

Nothing happens. If I hide the HUD in the emulation, I can do nothing but to play the game. To switch the game, I'd need to restart RetroArch, savesates are not possible (accessible).

This i still present. Defiantly using the glui menu driver at least.

Is there a reason technically or other?

After a couple of years i still hit the android back button when in menu. I would love to see a comment on this.

Same here. I am owning a GPD XD+ and it would be pretty handy to have the back button to go back to the menu.

I'd appreciate this, along with an option to show the navigation bar on devices without physical buttons (e.g. my OnePlus 6).
