Bug / Problem

Ramdom crashes when loaded roms, mainly cps2, cps3 and neogeo systems. Tried with correct romset, using romcenter and fba generate dats.

Expected behavior

Load roms

Actual behavior

Sometimes crashes to xmb or freezes the entire system

Steps to reproduce the bug

Load a cps or neogeo rom
Choose fba, fba neo or fba alpha core
Expect ramdom crashes or sometimes play the game

Version/Commit

1.7.9. Tested in 1.7.1 and 1.6.2 too.

RetroArch: 1.7.9
OS: PS3 4.84

2nd this. CPS2 romset that works is very limited, however, the one that affects me the most is SNES roms. Regardless of 2005, Plus, 2010, all SNES9X tend to crash 50% of the time when loading a game with a save file. The PS3 hangs completely and needs to be hard reset.
